THAT FAMILIAR SMILE
A curve framed over her face, makes her look like an angel
and unique from the multitude. The curve broadens when she saw me, I was a
complete stranger to her yet she gave me that angelic smile. That one moment I
forgot my worries and pains. I am a person who never goes off well with the
social classes, involved within myself most of the time. For friends I am not
more than a monotonous piece of frame, but that solitude gives some kind of Zen
feeling within me. I hate the mundane jobs but for the living I have no choice
but to go through same work again and again.
I stared at her as
if she has worked a spell on me, unable to move looking her beautiful smile,
looked so familiar though, I wondered that is there any happy soul still left
in this world? She came towards me, my heart started pounding like a bullet
train. “Excuse me! I am kinda lost in this place, umm…could you help me out
please!!”, she was smiling which forced me to think that how can anyone feel
happy getting lost. But yes, actually there lies a deep thought in these lines.
You have to get lost, to find your true self.
I couldn’t resist myself and said, “Mam you have a beautiful smile!”, she looked at me with a little surprise and then blushed, “Oh! Thank you so much, well”, I told her the correct route and as she was leaving she turned towards me, smiling again and said, “Ok honey! Don’t be late for the dinner”.
I smiled back and said, “I will be on time my love….”.

THE END
